performances, art and engaging activities.

Many visitors came and painted

on the boards, becoming

collaborators in this unique project.

BOARDWORX : Taking it to the streets

On July 29, 2009 Boardworx was on the

Historical Stephen Avenue walk

in the heart of downtown Calgary.

We invited the public to join in the painting of the boards.

The exciting response from eager passer by painters contributed

to the sense of community and collaboration of this project.

Artist Profile - Nola Dahl

Nola Dahl's creations have a tendency to overlap techniques and dimensions. A lot of her work focuses on the urban metropolis, she describes

"...something really fascinating about the city and the way we interact with it."
Nola is currently completing a Print Media major at the Alberta College of Art and Design.
